New Vertical Test Chamber for Determining Thermal Transmittance Using the Hot-Box Method

As part of the modernization and relocation of equipment at the ITC Building Testing Laboratory, we have upgraded the original measuring box used to determine thermal transmittance using the hot-box method.

The new vertical test chamber enables the testing of larger building products and constructions than before, while maintaining all required quality standards for measurements of the thermal insulation properties of products and constructions.

The upgraded equipment expands our testing capabilities for thermal insulation products and constructions and allows measurements to be carried out under appropriate conditions using the modernized facilities of the ITC Building Testing Laboratory.
