Increased Capacity Construction Product Emission Tests
ITC laboratories have acquired a new emission chamber from the German company Olfasense for testing emissions from construction products. The quality of the indoor environment in buildings has become an increasingly discussed topic. Consider how much of our lives we spend inside buildings! The air we breathe, both at home and at the workplace, can be affected by long-term harmful substances that may be emitted from construction products.
New testing procedures, based mainly on "EN 16516 Construction products: Assessment of release of dangerous substances - Determination of emissions into indoor air" are being increasingly implemented in the conformity assessment of interior materials.
