New method for determination of organometallic complexes

Our analytical laboratory has implemented new method for determination of organometallic complexes (i.e. alkyl mercury) by cation chromatography, coupled to ICP-MS detection. This group of substances is represented for example by Trimerosal, used as fungicide or fungistatic agent. Such a substances can be limited for example in vaccines or contact lens solutions. Determination of crack bridging properties

Laboratory of building materials has introduced new test device for test according to EN 1062-7 for “Determination of crack bridging properties”. On this device also another tests of paints, varnishes, coating materials and coating systems can be performed, list of standards is attached in this note. contact: rmikac@itczlin.cz

Food contact materials - Mineral oils MOSH and MOAH determination in packaging:

With respect to the clients requests the new method was developed in ITC laboratories - Mineral oils MOSH and MOAH determination in packaging. Aromatic mineral oils (MOAH) are considered by EFSA as potentially carcinogenic and are given high attention now. Limit values for migration were published on a national basis by German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR). the Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council on medical devices

On May 5, 2017 the Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 April 2017 on medical devices, amending Directive 2001/83/EC, Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 and Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and repealing Council Directives 90/385/EEC and 93/42/EEC was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. It shall apply from 26 May 2020. By way of derogation, see the Article 123 Entry into force and date of application.

Testing » Accredited Testing Laboratory No. 1004

The Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry is a department of the Accredited Testing Laboratory No. 1004, which specialises in chemical and material analyses, the testing of the hygiene characteristics of products, analyses of natural and working environments, the testing of the emission behaviour of materials, the measurement of chromaticity, etc. In addition to actual accreditation a significant technical competence is guaranteed by the authorisation of the Ministry of Health for the investigation of the health safety of products that come into contact with food and alimentary products. The testing laboratory is approved by the IKEA company as a laboratory conducting tests for IKEA's subcontractors and as a laboratory authorised by the CAFIA for the assessment of wines.

  • Measurement of chromaticity
    • Measurement of trichromatic coordinates, measurement of colour differences.
  • ROHS
    • Testing for hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products, in accordance with the Council Directive 2002/95/EC and Act No.185/2001 Coll., on waste.
    • Processing of procedures for the implementation of requirements in accordance with the REACH regulation (input-output analysis, creation of a list of chemical substances, preparations and articles; determination of the client’s position in the supply chain, in accordance with REACH, the determination of the relevant requirements of the REACH regulation, definition of the optimal procedure for fulfiling the REACH requirements for every chemical component).
