new liquid chromatograph with tandem mass spectrometry Shimadzu LC-MS/MS 8045

At the beginning of 2018 department of analytical chemistry purchased brand new liquid chromatograph with tandem mass spectrometry Shimadzu LC-MS/MS 8045, which is used for trace analysis of organic substances. Spectrometer has superior sensitivity for organic substances in orders of nano-grams per litre of sample. In June first analytical procedures successfully passed accreditation after the validation. Testing of hydraulic brake hose assemblies by Standard SAE J1401

Institute for testing and certification offers a new service in a field of automotivetesting of Hydraulic Brake Hose Assemblies by Standard SAE J1401. For detailed informations please contact our expert from Physical Testing Laboratory mr. Radek Matejka rmatejka@itczlin.cz.

New method for determination of organometallic complexes

Our analytical laboratory has implemented new method for determination of organometallic complexes (i.e. alkyl mercury) by cation chromatography, coupled to ICP-MS detection. This group of substances is represented for example by Trimerosal, used as fungicide or fungistatic agent. Such a substances can be limited for example in vaccines or contact lens solutions. Floorball

Testing » Tested products

Together with SP Swedish National Testing and Research Institute, ITC is a second body authorized by the International Floorball Federation (IFF - http://www.floorball.org) as a certification body to evaluate floorball equipment. The testing process is administratively completed by the issue of a certificate in the SP Swedish institute and by purchasing the certification markings (for more detailed information see the Guide for Clients below). ITC cooperates closely with the Czech Floorball Union (ČFBU), which represents Czech floorball at the international level.

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS

The requirements for floorball equipment, testing methods and certification procedures are described in the currently valid technical specifications “Material Regulations – Certification Rules for IFF-marking of Floorball Equipment SPCR 011 – Edition 2012” (MR) and its attachments. For general public, MR and its attachments are available at the official IFF website www.floorball.org

Players and organizers of competitions are obliged to use only equipment bearing the IFF certification marking. This obligation is enshrined in the official IFF games rules (International Floorball Federation: Rules of the Game, Edition 2010), which are also available at the IFF website www.floorball.org.

TESTING

ITC provides testing of samples and the necessary conformity assessment with the requirements of the Material Regulations exclusively in its own laboratories as the IFF rules do not allow the taking over of the results of other laboratories. The scope of testing for the particular types of equipment is specified in the following table together, indicating also the articles of the Material Regulations (MR) applicable to the respective type. ITC issues a Test Report in printed and CD-ROM version containing an evaluation of whether or not the tested product meets all the applicable requirements of the Material Regulations. The Test Report is always issued by ITC in Czech and English language. The report can also be issued in other languages upon agreement with ITC.

CERTIFICATION

A test report issued in ITC serves as an underlying document for the issue of a certificate by the SP Swedish National Testing and Research Institute, acting as a certification body. The certification procedure is described in the Client's Handbook or in “Material Regulations". Mr. Lennart Månsson is the contact person for these purposes.
