INSTITUTE FOR TESTING AND CERTIFICATION

Sanitary products

Sanitary products represent an important group of construction products designed to ensure the hygienic functions of interiors. Given the dynamic development of requirements for bathroom, kitchen and relaxation area equipment, these are often multi-functional products frequently combined with electrical features. From the point of view of introducing products to the market and ensuring minimum safety, piping systems fall under the Construction Products Regulation No. 305/2011 of 9 March 2011 (EU – CPR) repealing, with effect from 1 July 2013, Council Directive 89/106/EEC (Construction Products Directive – CPD).  ITC are equipped to test a wide range of mechanical and physical properties, including tests to verify health safety, wear and tear resistance, functioning and safety.
