Testing of Collectors according to ISO 9806

The testing standard for thermal solar collectors with liquid medium, EN 12975-2, has been was replaced with the new standard EN ISO 9806. The new standard reflects the latest development in production and testing of collectors.


ITC is a SOLAR KEYMARK Certification Body

On 30 Sept 2013 ITC signed an agreement with COSMT (as a national representative of CEN) and got hereby a SOLAR KEYMARK Certification Body. SOLAR KEAMARK is a voluntary quality mark for solar thermal collectors.
Certified products have to be regularly tested and the manufacturer’s factory production control system is also inspected. The certificate thus gives a high degree of guarantee of the product’s parameters and the quality of manufacture. ITC is SOLAR KEYMARK Certification Body No 032 and the first one in Czechia.


New laboratory service – determination of 4-nonylphenol ethoxylates in products in accordance with requirements of REACH

The list of SVHC substances (Substances of Very High Concern) published in accordance with Article 59(10) of the REACH Regulation (on the Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of CHemicals) was amended in June 2013. The group substance “4-nonylphenol, branched and linear, ethoxylated” belongs to the new candidate substances.

New method for determination of organometallic complexes

Our analytical laboratory has implemented new method for determination of organometallic complexes (i.e. alkyl mercury) by cation chromatography, coupled to ICP-MS detection. This group of substances is represented for example by Trimerosal, used as fungicide or fungistatic agent. Such a substances can be limited for example in vaccines or contact lens solutions. Calibration, Metrology



The main purpose of calibration is to create metrological traceability of the measuring instruments data to  higher order reference standards. Calibration of all measuring instruments is conducted according to the Act on Metrology No. 505/90 Coll. as amended. Calibration services are used especially in chemical, food, agricultural and biological laboratories as well as in laboratories in hospitals, in hygiene and veterinary stations, in waterworks laboratories, in drug substances control and environmental control facilities, in power engineering laboratories,  geology and in other related fields.
