INSTITUTE FOR TESTING AND CERTIFICATION

Automotive parts | Components

The high quality and safety of materials and components of motor vehicles are the main priorities and goals of their manufacturers, as well as justified requirements of the end users. The supervision procedures during the development and production of automotive parts, all the way from raw material to the final product, requires close cooperation between qualified independent testing laboratories and the component distributers. The current principles of quality systems in the automotive sector place icreasingly greater demands on testing rooms and certification bodies. Besides the essential accreditation they are also the succesful interlaboratory comparisons and tests and lately also the frequent client audits, which require compliance with individual requlations, often beyond ITC's accreditation. ITC concentrates expert knowledge from many industrial branches and offers services to its clients from one place, thanks to the accredited testing laboratory ATL No. 1004 1004.3. From this view ITC is a significant provider of professional services that support the quality and safety in the automotive industry.

STANDARDS, TESTING METHODS

Database of concern standards VW Group Supply  - Online-Normentete
ITC registers approximately 1000 automotive test methods, which are used for quick orientation in inquiries of clients. Database is not updated regularly and therefore this one has informative character only. ITC has the contracted a registered access to system VW Group Supply.com (the information services for suppliers of Volkswagen concern). ITC is users of the „Online-Normentexte“ application, that is the tool for receiving of current version of VW standards and other technical documents.
